A commission: volunteered my design services as a honor to those lost.

"The build has been carried out by Liam Kanno (in real life: Odin Liam Wright) of the V3 Group. But this is more than just another commission for Liam, one of the most talented builders in Second Life. I believe my New York friends will find this site deeply moving, but this was a tragedy of global impact: 82 nations lost people that day. I hope you will agree that this is a most fitting tribute."http://www.3pointd.com

"this is an appropriate remembrance of those who were in the 9/11 tragedy." Ultravox Freeman

"It is not only a moving tribute by the talented Liam Kanno, but also an incredible work of contemporary art." Annie Ok

"Beautifully expressed." - Aleister Kronos

"Watching the massive towers fall was unlike anything I've ever seen," Liam continues, explaining his design. "The scale was immense, and I wanted to give as much scale to this build as possible... still, at the same time I had the intention of making it as intimate and private as possible, and wrap the visitor in the space." http://www.wayneporter.com/2007/10/30/second-life-memorials-and-digital-...

Dear Liam,

I am writing from the site of the September 11th Memorial that you have created. Although I am struggling to comprehend what I feel, as I do every year on this anniversary, I am experiencing a flood of emotion in this space. At the same time, I feel connected to all of the people who mourn senseless loss.

I simply want to thank you and express my deep appreciation for your effort.

With warm regards,

Ida Galtier
